The second option would save the costs of buying a new battery, and its not even certain that the battery would have enough in it to go through the process either, but it is a lot more experimental, and I have no idea if it would even work without breaking the device. The only solutions I could think of for that, is to open it up, and put a fully charged battery in (thus voiding the warranty, if there is one, but in your case probably not), or maybe (I haven't tried this yet, so I don't know if this would even work or not) opening up the tablet, and disconnecting the screen while the tablet charges, then reconnecting it in a few hours, after the tablet has stored up some juice. I still haven't figured out how to get it to charge, and that's really the main problem right now, is figuring out how to get it to charge either faster than the screen drains the battery, or without the screen turning on in the first place. So far as I know, there's really two different problems here:ġ) There was the issue with the firmware, that could be taken care of with the Samsung Smart Switch, andĢ) The device is out of battery, but because of issue number one, whenever the tablet has enough juice to do so, it turns the screen on at full brightness to tell that it is in such a condition, thus draining any battery that had just been charged into the device.
